Navajo Rug Purse
I have been finding some smaller rugs with odd sizes and have finally come up with a handy use for them. These are rug purses. Soft leather is used on the sides, I try to use complimenting colors, to give the purse some volume. I add a zipper to the top to keep it all secure and then and adjustable shoulder strap. I also put a phone pocket inside if there is enough space.
All handwoven by Navajo weavers. Most are 100% wool. If not, I will note the type of yarn.
